The paradigm shift in seeking relationships.

I often wonder why relationships these days aren't working out; then I realized that the behavioral pattern of people seeking a companionship has shifted into those who ends up in a dynamic of two individuals who have lack of understanding what love is. The lack of loyalty and contentment, the power of technology and social media has affected almost everyone's judgement in keeping a partner or looking for the "one". People these days accumulated a personality of someone who doesn't care even if they waste their time playing around too much because of how easy it is to have someone to flirt with without any accountability. I know that there are still people out there who want to be in a peaceful and long-term relationship despite the new generation's mindset of " it's better off alone". I hope someday, I'll be with someone who will love me, cherish me,respect me and look at me like how my father is to my mother.
