Sea staff readiness is one of the most essential parts of manpower planning and scheduling. It has a very significant impact to the realization of manpower planning, cost and up to operational excellence onboard vessels.
Unfortunately, we have seen a surge of sea staff tendering improper NOR which consequently providing negative impact of the ensuing processes. All sea staff needs to ensure below to be abided accordingly:

Notice of Readiness (NOR)
• Upon signing off, all sea staff is to check his certification and travel documents to ensure all is in order for next assignment.
• If there’s any documents/certificates need to be renewed, it needs to be completed during the leave period. Please liaise with Manning Office and Learning & Development department.
• For advance manpower planning purposes, NOR need to be submitted 15 days after completion of tenure to each respective manning office.
• Proper NOR – All certificate and documents is valid for the whole tenure of assignment and ready to depart immediately after readiness date.
• Vessel assignment will be prioritized to those tendered proper NOR.

Unpaid Leave
• Upon completion of leave, staff will be automatically falls under unpaid leave status.
• All benefits including family medical will be automatically void.
• Performance incentive/bonus and increment will be affected.
