Salutations!
I am a single, never married, Christian (Lutheran) father of a 6 year old boy. as of August, 2013, I have been single for almost 6 years. Albeit never having been married, I am completely ready for a lifetime commitment. After obtaining full legal/physical custody of my son, I made the decision to focus on raising him during the formative years. Now that 1st Grade I has started, my little tiger is becoming more independent and this father is ready to begin pursuing an adult relationship .... for me. :=)
I am an avid golfer who loves traveling, attending church/church related functions, reading, exploring, and pretty much doing anything involving walking out my front door. I even enjoy yard work and yes, household chores. I have a boy with bad aim, so know how to clean bathrooms. :-)
Prairie View, Purgatory, Crooked Stick and Sultans Run are some of my favorite golf courses to play: Google them if you are curious. I own more golf shirts than socks if that is any indication of my 'golf nuttiness'.
I have been to 46/50 US States and 10+ countries, yet love taking short trips to local Hoosier favorites, like Abe Martin Lodge in Brown County, Indiana.
I am an active member at my church, and yes, participate in the church golf league, which is in full SWING! :=) I will be running the church golf league next year and could always use a hand.
Albeit not having much free time, I am NOT interested in skipping ahead in a relationship. I understand that any relationship is a process and takes time. I only ask than any women who are intrigued by my ad be serious in their intentions. I am not here to play games, so please do not play them with me.
I am a work in progress. I rarely drink, do not do drugs and only smoke the occasional cigar when I golf.
I have never been married and have no drama in my life. I am close to my family, who also reside in the Carmel, Indiana area, and intend to remain her to raise my child and hopefully build a family.
I would characterize myself as being intelligent, very conservative/libertarian, educated, adventurous, outgoing and free spirited. Also, while I am open to having more children, I am at a place where having more children is not a priority for me.
Finally, if you are seeking a Green Card, a revolving ATM, my Social Security number or financial support for your entire family, then please, pass me by. I have met several ladies through FC and am familiar with the scams/deceptions being used on this site.

I apologize if any of the above seems too direct, intrusive or just plain rude. I hope you can understand that I am not only seeking my best friend, my partner in life, my future wife, but also someone who will play an important role in my child's life, so I am just being protective. :=)
